County Parks Master Plan

SUPPORT THE NORTHERN VALLEY GREENWAY!

It’s time to comment on the Bergen County Parks Master Plan Draft …Please take 1 minute to send in your comment supporting the NVG:

1 – CLICK HERE or visit https://cues.rutgers.edu/bergen-park-system/comment-on-draft-master-plan.asp

2 – Follow the instructions and email your comments by November 21st. The NVG should be included in a number of the graphics and specifically in the following sections:

      • *Visionary Consideration (p39): Linear Rails to Trails: use the NVG as a concrete example of a “once in a lifetime” opportunity within the County to transform an unused rail line into a park

      • *Identify Greenways (p64): the NVG is a known, desired and supported Greenway transportation alternative

      • *Implementation Strategies (p110): include NVG as an element of the connectors to County Parks that provides a safe way for residents to bike & walk to County amenities.

3 – Be sure to use the term “Northern Valley Greenway” and include what town you live in.
